With the experience of reaching approx. 19,000 students in Northern Italy and working with many families in Milan, SAGE Advising understands what Italian students want and need to know. University counselor Jeannette Law has enjoyed teaching and advising students in Italy for nearly 10 years.
Ms. Law’s commitment to raising local awareness of global study has made her a trusted resource for organizations like the US State Department in Italy, US-Italy Fulbright Commission, EducationUSA, and l’Agenzia Nazionale Scolastica Lombardia (ex-IRRE).
SAGE Advising has dedicated time to the community by organizing free seminars for teachers and students that put them directly in touch with educational opportunities abroad. On the topic of US scholarships, Ms. Law has given bilingual presentations to laureandi at such universities as the Bocconi, Politecnics of Torino and Milan, Venezia Cà Foscari, Milano Statale, Catholic University of Milan, University of Pavia, and to licei in Lombardia and Piemonte. For more details, see Past Collaborations and Upcoming Events.
An active member of the educational community in Milan and abroad, Ms. Law has been cited on US educational topics in the Corriere della Sera, International Herald Tribune (NY Times), Gioia, Newton Oggi, Libero, La Gazzetta di Parma, Il Giornale di Vicenza, Ricerche Educativa, TelePaviaNews, and the Fuori Aula Radio Network. She is pleased to share her knowledge of schools and student populations in Northern Italy with global education professionals. For further details, see Press & Media.
